Minister Osman Nurković held today the annual media conference in Vila Gorica on which he presented with his associates the results of the work of transport and maritime affairs department. In his address, Minister Nurković said that traffic is always a current topic, which is to be expected when the fact that the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs is implementing the largest capital projects in the country.

Prime Minister Duško Marković called on business people to work together with the Government to suppress the grey economy he considers the key deficit of Montenegro's economy. Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs Osman Nurković assessed that the results of the investment in the transport infrastructure are visible, but the period before us will be even more dynamic, with a special emphasis on the forthcoming valorisation of the Airport of Montenegro.

Project Results WB12-MNE-TRA-01 "Main project and tender documentation for the reconstruction of the main road Šćepan Polje-Plužine" are presented at the final workshop at Hotel Ramada. The project was prepared for the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs of Montenegro with the aim of preparing technical documentation for the construction / reconstruction of the 20km long section of the new border crossing of Paklice to Plužine.

The Montenegrin Maritime Administration started preparations for IMSAS revision in 2019

The delegation of EMSA's audit team for preparation Montenegro for IMSAS (mandatory audit for member states of the International Maritime Organization IMO) is staying in a multi-day visit to the Montenegrin Naval Administration. State Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs Muamer Hajdarpašić welcomed the attendees and reminded at the beginning of the conversation that Montenegro had officially become the 167 IMO member (International Maritime Organization) on October 10, 2006 and thus accepted the conventions and protocols IMO as well as the rights and obligations arising out of it.
